The full  terms & condition for Bake me elegant are detailed  below. By paying your deposit it will be deemed that the terms & condition are understood & accepted as applying to your order.

 

 

 

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT POLICY

When placing an order for  celebration cakes we require a 50% non-refundable booking fee, For wedding cakes we requre a

£100 depoist this non-refundable deposit is to secure the date you require and to cover the necessary costs to create your order. Final payment for wedding cakes is due no later than ONE MONTH before the wedding date.

If the final payment is not received a reminder may be sent, if no further payment is made we will consider the order cancelled and the deposit lost.

 

For cakes under £100 a minimum deposit of 50% is required (unless otherwise agreed). All deposits are non-refundable. For cakes under £100 final payment will be due ONE WEEK before the delivery / collection date, unless otherwise agreed.

Deposits and full payment can be made via bank transfer or cash

 

 

 

FOOD ALLERGY DISCLAIMER

Bake me elegant is NOT an allergy-free kitchen. We cannot guarantee that our products are free from ingredients that may affect those with food allergies, but all efforts are made to minimise this risk where requested. At Bake me elegant we recognise the seriousness of food allergies and we recommend that you contact us before you place an order to inform us of any food allergies that you or your party may have. Bake me elegant will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to our products.

The following ingredients are used in our kitchen:

•                Milk and other dairy products

•                Eggs

•                Nuts: peanuts, pecans, walnuts, almonds, cashews, coconut

•                Wheat and gluten

Please note that some food colourings may have an effect on behaviour in children.

 

 

 

DELIVERY POLICY

There maybe a delivery fee on your order you will be notified if there is on your consultation/enquiry or as soon as you let us know that you would 

like your order to be delivered. 

delivery is calculated on mileage and time basis. Alternately orders can be collected from our premises by appointment. We recommend that you allow 

 Bake me elegant to deliver orders like wedding cakes and other tired cakes as at times there is some assembly to be done on site.

If you choose delivery we will get in contact with your Venus to arrange asuitable delivery time for everyone in less otherwise state by you.

But please remember if you wish us to deliver you order at 10am and the Venus do not open until 11am there will be a £12 fee add to your bill for every 3o minutes we are stood about and will wait no longer than 1hr and 30 mins for you or the venue if we have other orders to deliver and 

you may have to paid the price for miles and time again. We will always aim to have your order delivered and setup in good time for the start of your event if we are late getting there as in the wedding breakfast as all ready started  the only refund you will be entitled to is

the delivery fee . We can not be held responsible for acts of any god .

 

 

 

TRAVELLING WITH THE CAKE

DO NOT place the cake on a seat in the car, seats are slanted and can damage the cake. The cake should be placed either in the boot or the foot well of the car on a non-slip mat (if you do not have one, please ask). Extra care should be taken when driving as some elements may be delicate. Bake me elegant cannot take any responsibility for damage to cakes when collected and transported by their customers.

 

 

 

THE CLIENTS RESPONSBILITY

It is the clients responsibility to make sure we have the correct address and details of the venue if there is likely to be any hazards as in roadwork's, speed

humps that may compromise the safety of the order during delivery.

It is also the clients responsibility to ensure a safe table or place for the cake to be set up as our cakes can weight a considerable amount.

 

 

 

STORAGE

All cakes / cupcakes should be placed on a flat surface and stored at room temperature in the box provided. They should be kept out of direct sunlight. Freezing or refrigerating our cakes or cupcakes is not recommended. Please note cupcakes should be consumed within 2 days and cakes within 3 days.

 

 

 

CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER

Bake me elegant  aims to meet your requirements and understands that sometimes situations occur which can result in you wanting to change your order. Please contact us as early as possible to ensure any changes can be actioned, generally 1 mouth’ notice is required for any changes.

 

 

 

NON-EDIBLE ITEMS

Most cakes contain small proportions of inedible items; it is the client’s responsibility to ensure these are removed by your caterer/guests before consumption e.g. Support dowels in tiered cakes, ribbon, wires in sugar flowers, Swarovski crystals, flower picks & flower tape etc.

 

 

 

FRESH FLOWERS

If a customer would like fresh flowers, rather than sugar flowers on their wedding cake, it is the customer’s responsibility to source the florist/flowers, unless specifically agreed with Bake me elegant . Once the cake has been set-up at the venue, and the cake has been signed for, Bake me elegant does not take any responsibility for any damage to the cake from the fresh flowers, or the placement on the cake of the fresh flowers. You acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any fresh flowers displayed on or next to the cake do not contain pesticides and are food-safe (non-toxic).  Bake me elegant  can take no responsibility for the flowers being food-safe. There may be a charge for arranging flowers on the cake if you would prefer Bake me elegant to do this as it requires additional items such as flower picks, flower tape and we will also charge an hourly rate.

 

 

COLOURS AND DESIGN

You may wish to supply us with sample colours (i.e. ribbon / material). Whilst an exact match cannot be guaranteed we will endeavour to meet your requirement as far as possible. This also applies to food colourings and icings. We can only create your finished order from what we interpret from the wording of your order; therefore it is vital you check everything is correct. It may not be possible to create exact specifications when modelling food, however we will work with you, often using sketches to ensure you are happy with the design.

We reserve the right to change the design at any point if circumstances beyond our control may compromise the quality of the finished cake .

IE melting due to weather, decorations not sitting well for that size tire .Each of our cakes is made lovely by hand so some small amount of variation may happy .

 

OUR PRODUCTS

Products made by Bake me elegant are made by hand and accordingly there will be minor variations in appearance. All photos, illustrations and descriptions displayed on our page are for guidance purposes only.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY

On occasion we will photograph our cakes and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.

 

 

 

COMPLAINTS

If you are not happy please ensure you make this known when accepting your cake. This gives us the opportunity to correct any problems. We are not responsible for mistakes made by the customer i.e. incorrect / misspelled names or incorrect choice of cake. We always keep samples of our products for a reasonable time. In addition we always take photographs of the cakes prior to delivery / collection.

Complaints are extremely rare in the world of cakes. Some complaints may require further investigation and an immediate refund may not always be possible. Cakes, or part of cakes and cupcakes, must be returned to us within 24 hours to ensure we are able to fairly assess the nature of the complaint. The cake must have been stored at the correct temperature and in the box we supplied, out of the sun and away from damp conditions or heat. If you are complaining for a refund you must return at least 90% of the uneaten product within 24 hours of delivery.

We do not refund for customers that have simply changed their mind or if the cake has been damaged out of our care.

Refunds can take up to 35 days.

 

Please note icing may crack as it dries out which is out of our control and why we recommend you consume your cake as soon as it is cut. We do not accept complaints for not liking the taste of our products mainly because individual's tastes are different. We can offer a tasting service for a small fee which allows you the opportunity to taste our products should you wish to do so prior to ordering.

 

Behaviour conditions 

It is unfortunate that we now have to add this clause it is not often we have to do this but however Bake me elegant will not tolerate Bridezilla's or Grommzilla's behaviour this includes excessive e-mails & phone call's rudeness & abnormal irrational  behaviour. we pride ourselves on our service and being helpful  to give you the best service we can. If clients cannot behaviour in a normal manner and engage inany of the behaviour listed above we reserve the right to terminate the order.

 

 

 

CAKE STAND HIRE

When hiring a cake stand  the fee for the stand must be paid on booking and is non-refundable. A deposit will need to be given before the stand is let out

and will be refunded  when the cake stand it returned in the same conditionas hired out and with the box if there was one. 

hire is for 3 days unless otherwise agreed and is the clients responsibility at all times will they are hiring it and it is their responsibility to return it to us. 

 

 

 

CANCELLATION'S

If in the Evert you have to cancel your order any money that as been paid goes to your non-refundable deposit and it is non-transferable .

If you need to change the date we will try to accommodate you if we can for the new date. If its 6mouths or more later there maybe a additional charge due to inflation. If we can not it will have to go under cancelled order .

if we can accommodate your new date but we have started to make perishable items that will not last to your new date i.e. sponge cake,fresh flowers est. 

the cast of new ones will be added to your bill.

If for any un-fore seen reason Bake me elegant as to cancel your order i.e. ill health, fire, a full refund will be given A.S.A.P 

the only time we will not give a refund will be if we have to cancel the 

order duo to see reference Behaviour.

 

Consultation 

We do offer a free consultation if you miss an appointment without at least 12 hrs notice and wish to book it in again there will be a £10 deposit fee that will be taken off of your order of you bookin with Bake me elegant. We don't like to have to do this but our time is precious and will waiting for you other clients are missing out.

 

 

 

TASTER'S

Every few months Bake me Elegant hold a taster session this is free for couples that have booked in an order with me over the value of £250.

Taste of boxes can also be purchased for a small fee.if you then booking an order of £250 or more within 3 days of the taster box the fee will then go towards your final balance.

if you received a free taster box because of being booked in with me and then cancel your order this then becomes payable
